This front garden redesign formed part of a wider renovation project, where the client had purchased a dated bungalow in Barry with the goal of quickly upgrading and reselling the property for profit. The front garden was previously neglected and overgrown, detracting significantly from the home’s overall presentation.

Our brief was to deliver a cost-effective, modern and low-maintenance landscaping scheme that would make an immediate visual impact and enhance kerb appeal. Working to a tight budget and fast turnaround, we designed a clean and simple front garden layout using gravel and bark mulch surfacing, combined with new retaining features, steps, and crisp timber and brick detailing to define levels and boundaries.

The result is a tidy, easy-to-maintain frontage that feels fresh, modern and functional—helping to elevate the property’s value and make it market-ready without the need for intensive planting or ongoing upkeep.
