Whether it’s designing a garden for a neighbour, crafting planters from recycled pallets, or lending a hand in the local park, these projects reflect our practical skills, playful spirit, and commitment to making outdoor spaces better for everyone—no matter the size or budget.
The Projects
Neighbour’s Garden Design
This angular garden was transformed into a modern, multi-functional space with zones for play, planting, and relaxation. A slate patio catches the evening sun, while a timber pergola with swings and a hammock creates a shaded retreat. Offset stepping stones, built-in seating, and a waterfall feature add structure and interest, making the most of a challenging layout.
Recycled Pallet Planters
Commissioned by a local resident, these planters were built entirely from salvaged pallet wood, then carefully treated, lined, and painted for long-term outdoor use. Designed to enhance a public park overlooking the sea in Penarth, the project brought vibrant, hand-built planting structures into a community space with minimal environmental impact and maximum reuse of materials.
